Our investment philosophy

Every investment has a social and an ethic aspect. We are highly aware of the fact that the money we invest has an impact on the living environment. That is why we decided to invest private equity in special companies and sectors. 

The portfolio companies should primarily be medium-sized companies at the time of the investment decision and generally have their domicile in Germany, Austria or Switzerland. They should principally operate in the fields of the automobile supply industry, industrial electronics, or high-performance working materials. In general MIT does not invest in both early stage companies and turn around/restructuring cases.

We also decided neither to invest in intoxicants or addictive drugs such as alcohol or tobacco, in the manufacture, sale or distribution of pornographic productions nor in the operation of financial services (e.g. banks or brokerage firms)

We are looking for sustainable and ethic investments. Our target is to strengthen fundamentally the equity capital base of our portfolio companies, helping them to reach their goals and being a partner on their way to success.
